Artist Statement:
Norman Finn spent his working life as a designer of footwear and apparel. He developed Am Asia International, which marketed fashion products worldwide with manufacturing facilities on three continents.
For many years, living in Florence, Italy, he was influential in developing his love of art in all its forms. He has spent significant time in the far East, which led him to be a major collector of Asian Art. He wrote his memoirs, Life in A Shoe, and historical novels upon retirement.
He became a serious painter putting in ten thousand hours in his studio. Abstract art has captured his interest. He has developed a unique style called "Modular Art," giving the canvas added dimensions. His work centers around his Judaic roots and his experiences in the fashion and business world. He is dedicated to his work.

Norman Finn grew up in the domestic industry and worked in Florence, Italy. He became Corporate Vice President of Product Development for U.S. Shoe in 1976 and helped take the company to $2.7 billion. This led to his developing and pioneering better footwear in Asia. In 1987, he started AmAsia International, developing major brands with his son and daughter-in-law. Norman lives in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts, with his wife. Their grandson, Taylor, is their pride and joy.
